About the Brand

"As a Lymph Cancer survivor, I developed my own skin care products because I want to give the best to our customers with all my love."- Camille Obadia

The new Camille Obadia skincare line was created in 2014 by an internationally acclaimed esthetician to the stars, Camille Obadia. But the story of how the products were created began in Paris, 40 years ago.

After studying medical cosmetic care and post-surgery aesthetics for more than 10 years, Camille began her career at a series of top Paris clinics, including the prestigious Elysee Montaigne. She loved her work and treated famous French television actresses, movie stars, and royalty. In 1994, Camille made the exciting move to set up her own beauty clinic in the chic 8th arrondissement of Paris, and it soon became the hottest in the capital. Camille specialized in body and face treatments which she formulated by working with dermatologists, cosmetic surgeons, and doctors. Her own brand of facials and body treatments, using groundbreaking techniques in radio frequency and electrotherapy, she made Parisians look younger and slimmer, giving them firmer skin without going under the knife.

Camille integrated her academic training with her artistic nature. Her clients included top fashion journalists, designers, artists, writers and models and media legends (like Editor-in-chief of French Vogue Carin Roitfeld and Emmanuelle Lannes of Cosmopolitan magazine).

Her innovative in-office procedures, personal service, and exceptional talents gained Camille recognition throughout France, where she has been a frequent consultant and is widely-quoted in national newspapers, magazines and on television.

Camille has been called on to provide her expertise, and has published numerous articles, as a skin care expert for French Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Sante magazine and the industry bible, Coiffure and Beauty. She has also taught students at Paris’ College European De Formation Continue Paramedical Esthetic.

For years, Camille had many American clients who would visit her Paris clinic. So in 2010 she decided to open Beaute Oblige, her first beauty clinic in New York. Beaute Oblige is situated midtown on Madison Avenue, opposite Barneys and has become the secret of chic New Yorkers, fashion editors, designers, and celebrities. Clients have included Modern Family actress Sofia Vergara, Real Housewife of New York LuAnn de Lesseps and many fashion designers, stylists, and influencers.

After years of work, Camille grew dissatisfied with the products available on the market, and developed her first skincare line; she collaborated with doctors, engineers and chemists, including Xavier Gabarre at France’s esteemed University of Chemistry and Engineering. Her skincare line is a natural evolution of Camille’s life’s work, and features products that can deliver anti-aging benefits.

Obadia says “The skin care line battles pollution, increasing oxygenation, and maintaining good quality collagen, to keep skin healthy and fight the aging process.”
